Repeat this until your cleaning thread does not change color when it comes out of the air passage of the stem and comes out the same color as it was when it entered the air passage.

In the same way, to clean and clean the pipe, you can also clean the surface of the tenon and the gap of the stem opening using cleaning thread dipped in cleaning solution.

In the same way, clean the air hole inside the shank up to the bottom of the firebox. By folding the cleaning thread in the shape of the letter U, clean the hole inside the shank and its walls. Do not hesitate to use cleaning thread because in any case, cleaning thread is cheaper and more economical than losing a pipe and buying a new one.
